MRIU is a continuum of excellence from the Career Institute of Technology and Management (CITM), and was granted ‘Deemed-to be-University’ Status under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, as Manav Rachna International University, a visible symbol of knowledge & experience providing high quality education in the fields of Engineering, Health & Applied Sciences, Management, Computer Education,Hotel Management, International Programmes, Media, Design and many more

CITM was granted Autonomous status in July 2008 by Government of Haryana. MHRD, Government of India conferred Deemed to be University status to CITM on the recommendations of UGC and AICTE in October 2008 in the name and style of Manav Rachna International University (MRIU). The University admitted its first batch of students in 2009.

Dr O.P. Bhalla Central Library

The Dr O.P. Bhalla Central Library is a great hit among students and the reason is not hard to guess. Like most New Age libraries, it provides unlimited access to information in many formats and from many sources. Its inception has been more traditional though as it began on an auspicious note. Inaugurated by his Holiness Swami Satyamitranand Giriji Maharaj on April 4, 2014–MREI’s first Founders Day– the Library is a standing testimony to MREI’s quest for Quality Education. It is also a fitting tribute to Founder Visionary Dr O.P. Bhalla whose lifelong mission and goal was to create better human beings. The Library with its state-of-the-art infrastructure, plush and spacious settings, aesthetically done up interiors and huge collection of more than one lakh documents in print and electronic format, is a bibliophile’s dream come true. To students and faculties at MRIU in addition to departmental libraries, the Central Library offers a perfect platform for research, innovation and development and a tranquil ambience to explore the world of books.


Manav Rachna has a fleet of luxury AC/Non AC buses, providing transport facility to the students of Delhi-NCR, covering Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Palwal and Faridabad to MREI campus. It also provides Shuttle service between Badkhal to MREI and Badarpur Metro Station to MREI.


A wide range of health and welfare services are available at MREI campus. The University has a well-equipped dispensary for first aid and minor medical services. The university has a qualified doctor and nursing staff on the campus to take care of the medical emergencies. The University also has two State-of-The-Art, well equipped ambulances to cater to any exigencies thus ensuring highest medical safety for the faculty and the students alike. Besides having the First- Aid room in the campus and a separate sick bay for boys and girls, there is a Stateof-the-Art Out Patient Department of Physiotherapy. The University’s medical consultant is available for consultation between the specified hours on all working days.


MREI provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Single, double and triple seater rooms are available. The hostels have well-furnished rooms with many common facilities like TV, PCs, Telephone, Table
Tennis etc. The hostels have a well-managed & hygienic mess, where nutrition needs and taste of the students is taken care of. Regular transport services are available between off campus hostels & campus. An ergonomically and aesthetically designed hostel basically meant for International students is available with all State-of-the-art facilities.


In its endeavor to promote all round holistic development of students, the University encourages participation in extracurricular and cocurricular activities. Towards this exercise, the university supports a number of student Jazz and Rock bands which perform on all important occasions.


MREI has a tie up with Punjab National Bank and Corporation Bank for education loans for various courses.


To permit easy access to cash for day students as well as hostellers alike, a branch of PNB ATM has been located on the campus.

The strive for attaining excellence in its academic endeavours is a continuous process in the Manav Rachna International University (MRIU). Towards this end, the University has established a Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) on 26 August 2009.

Besides handling and promoting the marketing and the branding activities for the University and coordinating all events undertaken as part of its social esponsibilities, the major focus of the CRC is to enhance the placement opportunities for the final year students of all streams. In addition, it ensures that the students are also rendered guidance for entrepreneurship. CRC also assists Faculties/ Departments in seeking summer training/internship slots for the students with various industries. This is being achieved by forging alliance between the academia and the Industry. Needless to state, for improving employment quotient of students, it is important to develop their technical, managerial and soft skills in tune with the corporate needs. This task is being undertaken by an accomplished pool of faculty in the University. For soft skills training, the faculty has also been outsourced from accomplished National Level trainers.

The broad charter of CRC with respect to placement/ training activities is as follows:-

    To organise on/ off campus recruitment.
    To obtain slots for internship/ summer training and organise industrial visits.
    To forge alliance with industry and industrial bodies like FICCI, CII and FID etc.
    To seek feedback form industry/ employers on performance of students, curricula and infrastructure and appraise concerned authorities.
    To coordinate soft skill training with Faculties.
    To maintain updated record about students training and placement activities

The university offers free ships / Scholarships to all students on the basis of marks/CGPA in the qualifying examination as per following scale:

However, they are required to pay other fees as applicable to the programme concerned. Such students shall be required to maintain a minimum CGPA (SGPA in 1st semester) of 7.0 in the subsequent semesters without having any compartment in any subject and minimum 75% attendance in each semester, failing which the Scholarships awarded shall be withdrawn. For the purpose of  calculation of percentage marks, aggregate marks in the qualifying exams shall only be considered even if the eligibility criteria is limited to some number of subjects.

In addition, suitable freeship shall be available to high achievers in the field of sports, persons suffering with Thalassaemia Major, sons / daughters of Army Personnel who have been killed in war/ terrorist attack, physically handicapped students etc. on case to case basis.

All students admitted in various programmes shall be provided suitable study material as found suitable as facilitation. However, no rights of the students shall accrue in this regard.

Students shall be provided with Group Insurance for under Personal Accident Policy to cover the following benefits:

Re-imbursement upto Rs 1 Lac in case of permanent disability or death of the insurer.

Accidental Medical Expenses upto Rs. 10000 per incident for the insurer, covering both Inpatient hospitalization and OPD expenses. It includes services of a Physician, Hospital confinement and use of operating room, anesthetics, x-ray examinations or treatment, laboratory tests, ambulance charges, drugs and medicines etc.

Protection of fee payable upto Rs 4 Lacs for the remaining duration of the course in case of accidental death of the earning parent of the insurer. In case, both the parent of the student are earning, he/she would be required to declare through a sworn affidavit duly attested by the Notary Public the name of the first parent who is responsible for paying the fee of the insurer. The benefit of protection of fee payable shall be given in the case of accidental death of such parent only.
